Reebok Drops Rick Ross After Date-Rape Lyrics

After weeks in the news for his controversial date-rape lyrics on Rocko’s U.E.N.O. and a protest, Reebok has decided to drop Rick Ross from his endorsement deal.
After weeks in the news for his controversial date-rape lyrics on Rocko’s U.E.N.O. and a protest, Reebok has decided to drop Rick Ross from his endorsement deal.

“Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse. At this time, it is in everyone’s best interest for Reebok to end its partnership with Mr. Ross,” Reebok said in a statement to Billboard.

Ross did give an half-assed apology, but clearly that didn’t suffice. Hopefully, he sees the bigger picture because if enough people have a problem with it, then some things will change, as you all can see. Reebok trying to make a come back they don’t need that non-sense.

Rocko did state that he will replace the controversial version of U.E.N.O. with another one that will not have the rapper on there.
