Wale Courts a Beautiful Woman in 'The Body' Video Featuring Jeremih

Rapper Wale is in the mood for love in his new video for ‘The Body’ featuring Jeremih. The song is from his upcoming project, ‘The Album About Nothing.’

In the clip, the DMV rhymer is chilling in his limo when he spots a beautiful woman working her 9-to-5 job. Without missing a beat, Wale jumps out the car and woos the P.Y.T. with his boyish charm. It’s not long before the two go out on a date and the Maybach Music Group rhymer impresses her with food, wine and a good conversation.

R&B crooner Jeremih also appears in the video singing the song’s hook, which is lifted from R. Kelly’s classic slow jam, ‘You Remind Me of Something.’

Wale recently dropped his ‘Festivus’ mixtape, which was inspired by his love for his favorite comedy series, ‘Seinfeld.’

As for his next studio effort, ‘The Album About Nothing,’ Wale hopes to release that in early spring.

Vado Deals With a Cheating Woman on 'Song Cry'

It takes a lot of cojones to remake a Jay Z classic, but that didn’t stop Vado from taking on the challenge.

In his new cut ‘Song Cry,’ the Harlem rapper spits about love lost, and being cheated on by a woman he’s involved with. “Look bae, I could tell if you could you would stay / But couldn’t wait and pray for the day we in a good space / Shook face you had soon as I asked you / No need to look all sad cause you ain’t have to,” he raps.

The song is produced by Dolla Bill Kidz, as Vado chooses not to rhyme over the original version, giving the effort a new spin. And he goes outside of the box here, choosing to play the role of a jilted lover instead of the player.

“Oh, ’cause you out late that’s my fault? / You let a n—- eat on our plate, use my fork? / Here’s a few racks out the safe, some fly clothes / Keep the Cartier but bae I need time off,” spits Vado.

Nicki Minaj Earns No. 1 Movie With 'The Other Woman'

The Queen Barb is on top. Nicki Minaj‘s newest film, ‘The Other Woman,’ grabbed the No. 1 spot at the box office this weekend, bringing in $24.7 million dollars in the U.S., bumping ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ from its seat.

This is Minaj’s first role in a major Hollywood film and since it grabbed the top position, it’s likely that bigger parts are just around the corner. In a recent interview with MTV News, the 31-year-old rapper said she’s currently going on auditions. She’s in search of a role that’s specifically crafted for her, unlike ‘The Other Woman,’ which was written before she accepted the part.

As some might already know, the curvy Queens, N.Y., beauty attended LaGuardia High School, which focuses on music and the performance arts, so being in front of the camera and memorizing lines is nothing new for her.

But will her entry through Hollywood’s doors be as smooth as her entry into hip-hop? Because let’s face it, she pretty much single-handedly brought the female voice in rap back to prominence, so if anyone is capable of making a big splash in the film industry, it’s definitely Minaj.

Being on top isn’t anything new for the entertainer. In 2012, she starred as the voice of a woolly mammoth in the animated movie ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift.’ The film opened $46 million that year.

On the music front, Young Money’s first lady is preparing her third album, ‘The Pink Print,’ for release this year.

Nicki Minaj Offers Love Advice in 'The Other Woman' Trailer

Nicki Minaj makes her acting debut in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘The Other Woman.’ In a special preview clip released on Wednesday (March 19), the rapper-actress shows off her acting skills opposite Cameron Diaz, who plays Carly.

In the one-minute scene, Queen Barbz plays Lydia, an executive assistant who comes to Carly’s aid after witnessing her in despair. Apparently, Carly finds out that her boyfriend is married and she is completely devastated.

Lydia consoles her and gives her some, uh, love advice. When Carly tells her she’s tired of being a jump off, Lydia disagrees and suggests that married men are her type.

“All I’m saying is that married guys would be the perfect fit for you,” she says. “I think you need someone with something that’s gonna keep ‘em busy.”

It’s then Carly reminds Lydia that she met her third husband while she was married as to suggest that she doesn’t want to copy her unique marital path.

Before leaving, Minaj’s character offers some more words of wisdom.

“I’ll tell you what my mother told me, and these are words to live by: Selfish people live longer,” Lydia advises.

In the end, Minaj is showing her versatility as an artist with her new movie role in ‘The Other Woman.’

According to the synopsis, the film stars Diaz as a jilted woman who befriends her ex-lover’s wife, played by Leslie Mann, and another mistress, played by Kate Upon, to exact revenge on the philandering lothario.

‘The Other Woman’ will open in theaters on April 25.

Bits Blog: Woman Accused of Robbing Bank and Bragging About It on YouTube

The authorities say Hannah Sabata stole a car and robbed a bank in Nebraska, and bragged about it on YouTube.Screen shot via YouTube The authorities say Hannah Sabata stole a car and robbed a bank in Nebraska, and bragged about it on YouTube.

This might seem obvious to some, but here’s a little life tip: If you steal a car and then rob a bank at gunpoint, don’t brag about it in a video on YouTube.

Hannah Sabata, a 19-year-old from Nebraska, stands accused of doing this very thing.

A YouTube user named Jellee Beanie, who the authorities say is Ms. Sabata, posted a seven-minute video last week bragging about a robbery of a Cornerstone Bank in Waco, Neb., where the county sheriff says Ms. Sabata stole $6,000.

Dale Radcliff, the York County sheriff, said in a phone interview that he had already arrested Ms. Sabata by the time residents started notifying him about the video.

“My doctor called me and told me about the video,” Sheriff Radcliff said. “Then we started getting a lot of other calls about the video from people.”

Sheriff Radcliff said that Ms. Sabata had been identified as a suspect by her ex-husband. She sent him a text message, the sheriff said, bragging that she “had a pile of money after robbing a bank and asking if he wanted to go get a new tattoo with her.”

The authorities said Ms. Sabata posted the video, titled “Chick Bank robber,” from her messy bedroom at her parents’ house. She was wearing the same clothes she had worn during the bank robbery, according to the sheriff: a pink and white striped T-shirt and black jeans.

A brief text description of the holdup was attached to the video: “I just stole a car and robbed a bank. Now I’m rich, I can pay off my college financial aid and tomorrow i’m going for a shopping spree.” It added: “Bite me. I love GREENDAY!”

“I’ve been sheriff for 19 years, and in law enforcement for 42 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this,” Sheriff Radcliff said.

In the video, Ms. Sabata writes on a pad of paper describing a play-by-play of the robbery, then holds up the pad to her webcam. It’s difficult to read because the camera creates a mirror image of the words, as most Web cameras do. For those who can’t read backward, the video had subtitles added.

Ms. Sabata paused in the video to smoke something from a pipe — the subtitle says it is a “full bowl of weed.” The Green Day song “Warning” accompanies the video.

At the very end of the video, Ms. Sabata holds up a large pile of cash and smiles. Sheriff Radcliff said the video would most likely be entered at any trial as evidence.

Sheriff Radcliff said that the case would be charged by the York County attorney’s office. Candace Bottorf Dick, the York County attorney, could not immediately be reached for comment.
