Late Friday, ABC made decisions on all of their recently-debuted freshman comedies, reports THR. It was happy news for the Tuesday night duo of The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife, both of which received full season orders - no doubt helped by the fact that both shows held up well this week when airing new episodes without a new installment of Agents of SHIELD (which has already been given a full season) as a lead-in for the first time.

A more cautious approach was given to the Rebel Wilson comedy Super Fun Night, which has had four more episodes ordered on top of its initial 13, but not a full 22-episode order as yet.

The news wan't good for Back in the Game though. The James Caan / Maggie Lawson series was not given any additional episodes and will end after its thirteenth episode. Which likely means Suburgatory will be returning to take its place on Wednesday nights in a couple of months...
