Platinum Games' Project 100 has been renamed The Wonderful 101.
A new trailer for the game - which is an adorable and characteristically wacky combination of Pikmin-like real-time strategy and colourful superhero action - was shown during the Japanese Nintendo Direct live-streamed press conference this afternoon. Earth is under attack from aliens, and only 100 cute little masked superheroes can save it - with you, the player, being the 101st. Each has their own special powers: we saw huge blades, OTT guns, hang-gliding, lava-punching and all sorts.
There was no firm date for the game, which we can safely assume won't be a launch title.
