Jay Z and Beyonce aren’t the only hip-hop couple who can put together a tour. Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are headed down the same road.

According to TMZ, the two rappers, who are rumored to be dating, are performing together in Nicki’s hometown of New York City at the Copacabana club on Saturday (Feb. 13) for NBA All-Star Weekend. They’ll also head to Charlotte, N.C., later this month to do another gig, where they’ll likely perform their collaboration “Buy A Heart,” off her The Pinkprint album.

There’s even talk of a world tour for the pair, with the Young Money rapper serving as the headliner. News is that Queen Barbz will make twice as much Meek during the performance trek, which makes total sense based on the number of albums she’s sold so far — he only has one LP out compared to her three.

The tour rumors come on the heels of new Instagram photos that show both lyricists being affectionate towards each other. One images shows them at a video shoot getting cozy while another finds the Philly native holding his lady close.

So far, they’ve never admitted they’re dating — Minaj said they’re just friends. Accoridng to her, it’s weird that people are talking about them so much because they’ve been friendly for several years.

“Sometimes we hang out, and when we hang out, we have fun,” she said in an interview with Vogue. “This is what I want to say about him: People think for some strange reason that we just started becoming friends recently. We’ve been friends for a very, very long time, and he’s been around for a lot of things that I’ve gone through. And that’s all I’ll say about that.”

Nicki Minaj Delivers 'Only' Video Featuring Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown

With Nicki Minaj‘s ‘The Pinkprint’ album just days away, the buzz and anticipation is steadily growing. The rapper keeps the momentum going by dropping the visuals to ‘Only,’ featuring Drake, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne.

The video starts off with a shirtless man seemingly knocked out in a bathroom. Then he’s dragged away by a scantily-clad model and tied to another guy, who’s also been knocked out.

It turns out that Minaj is in charge of a team of women who kidnap men, as she sports a barely-there black outfit alongside her Young Money team.

Soon after, Drizzy and Tunechi make an appearance, but they’re not tied into the kidnapping storyline at all. They just perform the song, while Breezy sings the hook — wearing gold fronts, colored contacts and a nose ring. There’s also a weird shot of him singing through a white stretchy rubber kind of material, which adds another level of oddity to the video.

‘Only’ is the third single off ‘The Pinkprint’ album, which comes out on Dec. 15. It’ll be interesting to see how it does in its first week of release. Perhaps she’ll beat J. Cole’s ’2014 Forest Hills Drive’ album, which is expected to sell over 200,000 units in its first week.

Nicki Minaj Earns No. 1 Movie With 'The Other Woman'

The Queen Barb is on top. Nicki Minaj‘s newest film, ‘The Other Woman,’ grabbed the No. 1 spot at the box office this weekend, bringing in $24.7 million dollars in the U.S., bumping ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ from its seat.

This is Minaj’s first role in a major Hollywood film and since it grabbed the top position, it’s likely that bigger parts are just around the corner. In a recent interview with MTV News, the 31-year-old rapper said she’s currently going on auditions. She’s in search of a role that’s specifically crafted for her, unlike ‘The Other Woman,’ which was written before she accepted the part.

As some might already know, the curvy Queens, N.Y., beauty attended LaGuardia High School, which focuses on music and the performance arts, so being in front of the camera and memorizing lines is nothing new for her.

But will her entry through Hollywood’s doors be as smooth as her entry into hip-hop? Because let’s face it, she pretty much single-handedly brought the female voice in rap back to prominence, so if anyone is capable of making a big splash in the film industry, it’s definitely Minaj.

Being on top isn’t anything new for the entertainer. In 2012, she starred as the voice of a woolly mammoth in the animated movie ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift.’ The film opened $46 million that year.

On the music front, Young Money’s first lady is preparing her third album, ‘The Pink Print,’ for release this year.

Nicki Minaj Offers Love Advice in 'The Other Woman' Trailer

Nicki Minaj makes her acting debut in the upcoming romantic comedy ‘The Other Woman.’ In a special preview clip released on Wednesday (March 19), the rapper-actress shows off her acting skills opposite Cameron Diaz, who plays Carly.

In the one-minute scene, Queen Barbz plays Lydia, an executive assistant who comes to Carly’s aid after witnessing her in despair. Apparently, Carly finds out that her boyfriend is married and she is completely devastated.

Lydia consoles her and gives her some, uh, love advice. When Carly tells her she’s tired of being a jump off, Lydia disagrees and suggests that married men are her type.

“All I’m saying is that married guys would be the perfect fit for you,” she says. “I think you need someone with something that’s gonna keep ‘em busy.”

It’s then Carly reminds Lydia that she met her third husband while she was married as to suggest that she doesn’t want to copy her unique marital path.

Before leaving, Minaj’s character offers some more words of wisdom.

“I’ll tell you what my mother told me, and these are words to live by: Selfish people live longer,” Lydia advises.

In the end, Minaj is showing her versatility as an artist with her new movie role in ‘The Other Woman.’

According to the synopsis, the film stars Diaz as a jilted woman who befriends her ex-lover’s wife, played by Leslie Mann, and another mistress, played by Kate Upon, to exact revenge on the philandering lothario.

‘The Other Woman’ will open in theaters on April 25.

President Barack Obama has a message for Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey — GIVE PEACE A CHANCE!!!!!

The war at the “American Idol” judges’ table was escalated all the way to the Commander In Chief this weekend when POTUS appeared on Michael Yo’s radio show.

“I think that they are going to be able to sort it out,” Obama said … “I am confident.”

Obama continued, “I’m all about bringing people together, working for the same cause. I think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they’re moving forward and not going backwards.”

And when asked who’s his favorite, Obama actually picked a side — replying, “Mariah. She’s actually done some events for us. I’ve gotten to know her and Nick [Cannon]. She’s a wonderful lady.”

He added … “Nicki, I don’t know, but I’ve got her on my iPod.”

Nicki Minaj was supremely disrespectful to Mariah Carey 2 years before she exploded on the set of "American Idol" this week ... TMZ has learned.

Nicki and Mariah teamed up in 2010 for a music video -- "Up Out My Face."  Nicki wasn't nearly as big at the time -- Mariah was, and we're told she felt like she was helping launch Nicki's career.

B. Scott, who's big on the Internet, appeared in the video.  He tells TMZ ... "Mariah went out of her way to be nice to Nicki and make her comfortable."  But Scott says Nicki was a raving bitch, "making faces at her [Mariah] laced with rude comments under her breath." 

Scott says he blew the whistle on Nicki by giving Mariah the low down.  Scott says Mariah decided not to confront Nicki and acted as if nothing had happened.

A source close to Nicki tells TMZ ... Scott is a liar because, "He works as Mariah's stunt double and of course he would say things like that.  He's worked for her for years."

Scott says he stayed in touch with Mariah and spoke with her Thursday night.  Mariah says she wants to bury the hatchet with Nicki on "A.I." and focus on the contestants.

According to a report by TMZ, things got pretty heated during the filming of American Idol auditions today in Charlotte, North Carolina with a verbal altercation between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey that led to filming being cancelled for the day. 

Nicki Minaj derailed the “American Idol” auditions after swearing at her and threatening, “I’m gonna knock you out” … sources tell TMZ.

Multiple sources are telling us there was a blow up between the two … Nicki left, then came back and the fireworks continued, culminating with the threat.  We’re told producers ended the auditions for the day so the two judges could cool down.

TMZ isn’t the only site reporting on the drama between the divas. According to an exclusive report by Mouth to Ears, Nicki was being provoked by Mariah prior to the threat that ended filming for the day.

Mouth to Ears reports: 

Nicki Minaj walked off of set because Mariah Carey kept making jabs at her.  Nicki’s manager and team convinced her to come back to the show.  Mariah kept at it and called Nicki a bitch and then proceeded to cuss her out. Producers had to stop filming and call it a night.

Seems like things got pretty heated on set and it is said to have producers in frenzy. And we all thought Simon was the diva!

Nicki Minaj is FURIOUS with "American Idol" producers -- telling her peeps they goosed Mariah Carey into starting beef on the set.

Sources connected with Nicki tell us ... she's convinced producers -- along with members of Mariah's team -- are conspiring to get under her skin ... because they think a pissed off Minaj will bring in viewers.

We're told Nicki is adamant ... she won't be anyone's puppet and if she feels she's being set up, she vows to "cut it off at the head."  As for how, she says for starters, the next time Mariah "acts up," Nicki is walking off the set.

There's just one problem with her theory -- we know "Idol" producers were genuinely shocked and upset by Tuesday's outburst.  Our very connected "Idol" sources tell us the big wigs were completely flat footed and they are doing everything they can to restore peace -- which they successfully did Wednesday.

As for conspiracies between producers and Mariah ... we believe in the grassy knoll just like the next guy, but in this case Oswald did it alone.

Nicki Minaj derailed the "American Idol" auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina Tuesday, after swearing at Mariah Carey and threatening, "I'm gonna knock you out" ... sources tell TMZ.

In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Nicki is clearly furious ... shouting, "I told them I'm not f*ckin' putting up with her f**kin' highness over there."

Sources say Nicki later threatened to "knock out" Mariah ... but she said it before the video starts.

It all went down while the two were sitting at the judge's table ... with Keith Urban sitting in between them and Randy Jackson sitting on the far end, next to Mariah.

We're told the whole thing exploded over a disagreement over a contestant's performance.

According to our friends at MouthToEars.com, producers ended the auditions for the day so the two judges could cool down.  We've confirmed that happened.

Big wigs on the show seem uncharacteristically upset by the blow up.  It seems producers are worried about Mariah and Nicki co-existing for the long haul.

Lil Wayne Explains Why He Removed Nicki Minaj From Summer Jam

Lil Wayne explains that he removed Nicki Minaj from Summer Jam, because she was being disrespected.

Before Nicki Minaj was to take the stage at Hot 97's Summer Jam, Wayne tweeted that he pulled her from the lineup. Later on it was revealed that the reason Lil Wayne pulled Nicki out was that the radio DJ, Peter Rosenberg, made a horrible comment about the artist’s single “Starship” being “bullshit.” Minaj felt disrespected and she decided that she did not want to perform.

During an interview with MTV News, Lil Wayne decided to break the silence. He explained, “First of all, I approached the situation like this: that’s a female, first and foremost. Nicki Minaj is a female. I don’t know what anyone else believe, but I believe that females deserve the ultimate respect at all times no matter what, where, when or how. So as soon as she called me and said she felt disrespected, I just declined everything and pulled her from the show because first of all, no person that works with me – because no one works for me – no person that works with me will be disrespected in my presence as long as I’m on this planet.”

Wayne even stated that he doesn’t have bad feelings towards Hot 97, it was just the incident that the DJ pulled.

“And like I said, she’s a female, first and foremost, so I expect the red carpet – in her manner, the pink carpet – to be laid out for her. But like I said, it’s just an executive move, no bad feelings, no hard feelings. It’s just like I said, in my opinion, she says she was disrespected. That’s a woman. I feel like a woman is supposed to be respected at all times. Therefore, I feel like I made the right decision.”
