Reports have surfaced on Hip Hop website Def Sounds that Lloyd Banks and four other men were arrested in Canada in the early hours of Saturday morning for assaulting a club promoter.
Banks, who was scheduled to perform at Club NV in Brantford, Ontario on Friday January 8th allegedly failed to show up at the club until 2.30 am after fans had been waiting for him to perform from 10 pm. Upon arriving at the club, it is rumored that he didn’t even perform one song before leaving the stage.
After promoter Chris Hines of Chris Hines/Ultimate Entertainment objected to paying the G Unit rapper for his performance or lack of, he was assaulted by Banks and his entourage. Hines who suffered various facial injuries was rushed to hospital.
Banks is said to remain in custody.
