Lil Wayne is set to plead guilty for his connection with a .40 caliber hand gun found on his bus in 2007, while in New York, after a concert appearence.
According to AllHipHop.com, yesterday October 21st, The courts checked the gun in question for DNA, linking Lil Wayne to the weapon. In fact there was a small amount of the rappers DNA on the gun. A fact that the prosecution will use to build their case against the rapper.
Wayne faces 15 years behind bars for each count of criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon.
Lil Wayne will reportedly plead guilty for possession in exchange for an 8-month bid in jail.
Sources say, Weezy will make the announcement today and will begin serving his sentence in February 2010.
