Listen to 911 Call From Lil Wayne's Miami Home Shooting Hoax

Lil Wayne was the latest celebrity to fall victim to a notorious swatting prank, which caused dozens of police, including a heavily armed SWAT team, to search for a shooter at his Miami Beach mansion Wednesday (March 11). Thanks to TMZ, the 911 call from the incident has been released.

An unidentified caller alerted police that he was armed and shot four people inside Weezy’s mansion. “I am in Dwayne’s house, I just shot four people,” the male voice said on the call. “I don’t give a f— if you are a cop or not I am shooting to kill everyone and everything you f—ing bitch.”

The operator clearly is not amused and seems not to be alarmed at the alleged threats. “So you called on the phone just to say that?” the operator asks. Then there is silence as the call was apparently dropped. The caller dials 911 again only to be met by more questions from the skeptical operator. “So you need an officer?” she asked. “What’s the problem, sir?”

The call sounds like a swatting hoax from jump, however, you can never be too cautious with the level of gun violence in America these days. The police acted responsibly. Luckily, the Young Money boss was not home. However, he pulled up during the search and he and the police were able to clear things up.

The disturbance didn’t have Wayne sidetracked for long. He tweeted to his fans after the incident to reveal it was a hoax and promoted his Free Weezy Album. The police are still on the hunt for the caller.

Quincy Jones III — I Didn’t Steal Lil Wayne’s Music for Documentary

Quincy Jones III
I Didn't Steal Lil Wayne's
Music for Documentary
Quincy Jones III -- the filmmaker behind the 2009 documentary "The Carter" about Lil Wayne -- insists he did NOT steal the rapper's music to make the movie ... and now, he wants Weezy's lawsuit thrown out of court.

Quincy -- son of the legendary music producer -- just filed legal docs, responding to Lil Wayne's copyright infringement lawsuit against him, in which Wayne claims he never gave Quincy permission to use his music in the film.

It didn't help that Wayne also HATED the movie -- calling it a "scandalous portrayal" of him -- and then gave Quincy's lawyer hell in a hilarious deposition.

But Quincy's insisting he had the right to use several Weezy songs in the documentary -- including "Lollipop”, “A Milli” and “Don't Get It" -- under the "fair use" doctrine because the music was necessary to tell the Lil Wayne story.

Quincy wants Wayne's lawsuit dismissed asap. He also wants Wayne to pay his attorney's fees.

Weezy has also filed a breach of contract lawsuit against QJIII -- and that case is set to kick off in court later today.

Lil Wayne’s Ridiculous Deposition Video

Screen Shot 2012 09 26 at 8 32 58 AM

It’s the most entertaining legal proceeding — possibly ever! In a videotaped deposition … Lil Wayne — who is suing Quincy Jones III over a documentary about him — says he can’t remember ANYTHING — but what he DOES remember is hysterical.

Q III had his production team follow Lil Wayne around for months to chronicle his life as he was putting together his album, “Tha Carter III.” It appears Lil was on board, but things fell apart because the rapper hated the movie, calling it a “scandalous portrayal.”

Lil Wayne is grilled by Qunicy’s lawyer, Pete Ross from the powerhouse law firm of Browne George Ross, who hammers Wayne about his criminal record, but the rapper claims he remembers nothing.

And then there are the alleged threats Wayne makes against Pete Ross. Wayne says he wasn’t threatening the lawyer. You be the judge.
