All signs are pointing toward the imminent launch of a music discovery service from Twitter. Last month it was reported that the social networking giant acquired music service We Are Hunted -- news that was verified yesterday by Twitter's official account -- and now a landing page for the new service can be found at music.twitter.com. Signing in and syncing with your Twitter account does nothing at the moment, although it is expected that the service will officially be available in the immediate future, possibly during the Coachella music festival this weekend.

According to AllThingsD, the service will make music suggestions based on a number of factors, such as what you are listening to and what musicians you may be following on the social network. Through these suggestions users will be able to stream samples of music with the help of services like Soundcloud and iTunes, or watch videos provided by Vevo.

With the recent inclusion of video sharing service Vine, Twitter is quickly becoming a one-stop shop for consuming a wide variety of content without ever having to leave the app. Will the new music service help the company out even further? From the looks of it, we'll be able to find out sooner than later.

Aliens: Colonial Marines in Wii U Launch Window

SEGA has announced that Aliens: Colonial Marines will be released as part of Wii U’s launch window. The news was confirmed this morning at Nintendo’s Wii U Preview Event in New York City and comes just months after Gearbox announced that Colonial Marines will arrive on February 21, 2013 on other platforms.

Aliens: Colonial Marines was confirmed for Wii at E3 2011. Since then, developer Gearbox has repeatedly praised the Wii U and re-confirmed the title during Nintendo’s conference at E3 2012.

For more on Colonial Marines, check out our Aliens: Colonial Marines wiki guide as well as our multiplayer preview. You can also get more insight in our interview with Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford on Up At Noon.

Madden NFL 13 Will Arrive At Wii U Launch

EA has confirmed Madden NFL 13 will be a Wii U launch title. However, the impact of new hardware is evident, as not all key features of Madden 13 will make it to Wii U.

First and foremost, Nintendo's version of Madden 13 will not feature the revamped Infinity Engine, which revamps the franchise's physics in a major way. Our own Greg Miller noted this overhaul changed the feel of the game, making each play feel more like "a fight" than before. In an interview with ESPN, producer Yuri Bialoskursky said "It’s not for a lack of want. We definitely wanted to get the physics into the game. The Infinity Engine is something that is a point of interest for “Madden” fans, it’s just something we weren’t able to achieve for this first year on the new hardware. A lot of times, new hardware comes with new challenges."

EA is bringing many of the key Madden 13 features to Wii U, which is being developed by a dedicated team. Ideas like Total Control Passing, Girdiron Club and the new commentators are on the way. Plus the integration with Wii U's GamePad will allow players to make faster play calls, substitute players and create custom hot routes on the fly, changing the way sports fans will interact with a Madden game. Another key feature being brought to Wii U is Connected Careers, which allows up to 32 players to form a league. Bialoskursky noted that online is a big emphasis for Nintendo this time around, aligning with EA's own interests for its sports titles. On the downside, however, the Madden Ultimate Team feature will not be present this time around.

Speaking with IGN, Bialoskursky said his team's key focus this time around was making sure Wii U owners would have an authentic HD experience. That a game coming at a system's launch doesn't quite execute at the same level as its counterparts on systems that are now six and seven years old is almost par for the course, though it doesn't mean that EA isn't trying to give Nintendo owners as much as possible.

Double Dragon: Neon to Launch in September

WayForward has announced that Double Dragon: Neon will release in September, and also revealed how much the title will cost.

The reimagining of the classic franchise will be available on PSN from September 11 for $9.99, before launching a day later on XBLA on September 12 for 800 MS Points.

Billed as "a love letter to the classic beat ‘em up genre with modern sensibilities and a thick slather of Eighties acid-washed aesthetic," the game will also feature a drop-in, drop-out online co-op mode, interestingly referred to as "Bro-Op".

Double Dragon: Neon is the latest game in the franchise that follows twin brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee, as they fight against various adversaries and rivals.

Ouya Has Biggest Kickstarter Launch Day of All Time

The Ouya team has had a very big day. The company launched their Kickstarter for an open, hackable console at 6:00AM PST, and by 2:00PM had completed their funding (which, at $950,000 was an uncommonly high Kickstarter goal).

By 5:00PM the Ouya had sold out of consoles, meaning all the consoles Ouya thought they could possibly have imagined selling by the end of their 30 days of funding. No problem for Ouya though, more have already been added.

So what does Julie Uhrman, Ouya CEO and ex-IGNer think of all the backing? "We are completely blown away by the level of support we are receiving for OUYA." She says. "It's an amazing experience, to bring a concept to market and have the public rally behind it. We wanted to change things with OUYA, now thanks to the support of our Kickstarter funders, we can make that happen.  O-U-Y-A."

So with this much money and pressure has Ouya started the long days required to get these units in their backers hands? Well, not yet. As one Ouya employee put it, "We have had a totally unproductive a day. We can't stop hitting refresh!"

Ouya has 29 days left, in which time we may very well see it become the largest funded Kickstarter of all time, leaving even the Pebble Watch ($10,266,845) in its wake.
