Oprah Winfrey Dad Admits Oprah Paid For Divorce Because Ex-Wife Was Spending Too Much Money

Vernon Winfrey, 79, decided to break up with Barbara, his wife of 12 years, after becoming sick of her spendthrift ways, which he says almost cost him his barbershop business, and after confiding his fears to his daughter’s long-term partner Stedman Graham, Oprah stepped in to help.

Vernon said: “One day when Stedman was in town for a speaking engagement, I told him over dinner what was going on and that I didn’t know how I was going to handle it but I wanted out of my marriage.

“He asked if I needed help and I said ‘Yes I believe so’. He immediately told Oprah and she told me to hire attorneys and she would take care of it.”

Refusing to leave Vernon filed for divorce in June and claims his wife spent most of his money and is refusing to leave the $1.6m Nashville home Oprah bought for him.

He told National Enquirer magazine: “I’ve filed for divorce and moved out of the beautiful home Oprah bought me to live in but I don’t own it.

“Barbara was spending money as if I were Oprah.”

Oprah has always looked out for her daddy Vernon despite his immature behavior, philandering and potentially outing his daughter. She is the better person for turning the other cheek. The soon to be ex step mother needs to become gainfully employed and self supporting because Oprah’s legal team will ensure her ride is over.

Unfunny funny man D.L. Hughley has never shied away from controversy, offering his tough, unapologetic opinions on race, money, politics and even his family. Hughley joined host Michel Martin on NPR to share his critique of American leaders and to talk about his new book “I Want You to Shut the Fawk Up: How the Audacity of Dopes is Ruining America.”

MARTIN: OK. But then to go on and in many parts of the book have some very harsh things to say about black women – African-American women.

HUGHLEY: Like what do you think is harsh?

MARTIN: I have to ask, you don’t think that’s a contradiction? Well, this argument that you’re saying that….

HUGHLEY: I don’t – I think my life has been a contradiction.

MARTIN: …black women is – the only black woman you could be married to is your wife.

HUGHLEY: Yes.

MARTIN: …black women are so messed up? I mean what – or because she’s so great?

HUGHLEY: Well, in her ability to kind of tolerate my – it’s her ability to tolerate me, A) and B) I’ve never met an angrier group of people. Like black women are angry just in general. Angry all the time. My assessment, out of, just in my judgment, you either are in charge or they’re in charge, so there’s no kind of day that you get to rest(ph).

MARTIN: Well, I mean I’m thinking you or – one of the ways you came to public attention is your defense of Don Imus for calling the Rutgers women’s basketball team nappy headed ho’s…

HUGHLEY: I can’t, really, that’s like, I can’t disprove or prove a negative, but I can say this: that I have defended any number, I have defended Michael Richards for the N-word. I’ve defended Tracy Morgan for his comments. I defended Rush Limbaugh. You know, to me, you know, what people are talking about has never really kind of worked its way into my mindset. It is the idea that they have the right to say it. So I think that’s really kind of an unfair – optically, that looks different than the way I see things. But…

Stirring up controversy to move a couple of books. Yawn. Isn’t D.L. known for being the unfunniest person on Kings of Comedy? We’re sure a lot of people would love to exchange Bernie back for this jokster.

Love And Hip Hop Star JOSELINE Broke Up With STEVIE J . . . Claims That It’s Because DUDE IS GAY!!!

 

JOSELINE and STEVIE J from the show Love And Hip Hop are FIGHTING. And if you look at their TWEETS – it appears that JOSELINE IS PUTTING DUDE ON BLAST.

It all started out when Stevie J tweeted out “Don’t Bite The Hand That Feeds You.” Later that day, Joseline went on a TWITTER RANT – apparently at her BF/manager Stevie J. We’re assuming she’s talking about STEEBIE – cause she says “I don’t want your gay azz no more” – and to the best of our knowledge, the ONLY MAN she was in a relationship with, was Stevie J.

Anyways Joseline told people NOT TO BOOK HER through anyone OTHER than herself. And she went on about how she “found out” about Stevie’s “undercover” gay lifestyle. Then she UNCEREMONIOUSLY BROKE UP with him and threatened to “put his business in the streets.”
