Kanye West Performs at World AIDS Day Concert in New York [VIDEO]

As part of World AIDS Day on Monday (Dec. 1), some of music’s biggest acts convened in New York to perform a benefit concert for (RED), an organization helping to fight against AIDS. Among the artists was Kanye West, who performed a brief, but energetic set.

Yeezus graced the stage and rocked a nine-minute medley of hits including ‘Power,’ ‘Jesus Walks’ and ‘Black Skinhead.’ “New York City, you are now rockin’ with Yeezus,” ‘Ye announced to the crowd. Yeezy’s show wasn’t without hiccups.

At one point, the mercurial rapper admonished someone named Laura for not cutting a song at the right moment.

“Next song, you’re supposed to cut. We on TV,” he yelled before closing out his set with ‘Touch the Sky.’ Also performing at the concert were Chris Martin and Bruce Springsteen. The latter filled in for U2's Bono, who is still recuperating from a bike accident.
