About a year ago, Wale called up Complex and went in on an editor for not including his album, ‘The Gifted,’ on their year-end list. It appears that the DMV rapper and magazine are on friendly terms once again because he’s on the cover of Complex’s December/January 2015 issue along with Jerry Seinfeld.

The cover features Wale and the ‘Seinfeld’ creator enjoying a meal at New York’s Remedy Diner, the birthplace of the popular television sitcom.

For the interview, the pair sip coffee and chat for 30 minutes on important issues of the day: sneakers, suicide, strippers and sorcery (yes, sorcery). “Sometimes it’s difficult to tell exactly what it’s all about but one thing is clear: It’s not about nothing,” writes Complex’s Joe La Puma.

The video clips below — including that infamous list — feature some hilarious moments from their conversation.

Complex magazine’s December 2014/January 2015 issue, featuring Wale and Jerry Seinfeld on the cover, will arrive on newsstands soon.
