Rick Ross & Yo Gotti Bring Out the Neighborhood in 'Trap Luv' Video

Sometimes you’ve got to take it back to the beginning to see where you’re heading, which is what Rick Ross and Yo Gotti do in the visuals for ‘Trap Luv,’ off Ross’ seventh studio album, ‘Hood Billionaire.’

Most of the visual finds the two money-getting rappers on a Greyhound bus, presumably heading back home after a successful out of town hustle. The Dre Films-directed clip also has a real neighborhood-feel, as shots of people in the community replace the dancing women, the wads of cash being counted in front of the camera and the expensive jewelry being flashed.

Also, you can’t help but notice how much skinnier Rozay is, and it’s most obvious when he’s wearing a bold red shirt, as he rhymes leaning on a fence.

And for Gotti, he temporarily suspends his usual method, as his verses have a philosophical slant. In a recent interview, he said he was going to be rhyming more introspectively these days.

The clip is also dedicated to Michael Brown, the Ferguson, Mo., teenager who was shot by a police officer, as it closes with a photo of him and a brief caption.

‘Hood Billionaire’ drops on Nov. 24, and based on what we’ve heard so far, it looks like Ricky may have another No 1. album on his hands.
