Contact Us And another talk show bites the dust. ‘The Queen Latifah Show’ has been canceled after only two seasons. According to TMZ, the legendary rapper-actor called her staff into an office Friday morning (Nov. 21) to break the bad news. She also posted a note on her Facebook page that looks like it was from one of the show’s executives. “Dear Dana, Just a little note to say thank you,” the message read. “Thank you for your strong work ethic and great effort in getting ‘The Queen Latifah Show’ off the ground and running. Your dedication and sacrifice was crucial to the entire team, and in the face of intense challenges, you displayed true grit.” The message goes on to say that the New Jersey native should be proud that her staff was so dedicated, and that she had wonderful guest and audience members on the show. At the end of the note, Latifah wrote a p.s., and thanked her staff. “This letter is for me, my staff, my crew, and everyone who was by my side for this incredible journey,” she wrote. “The most important thing in life is that you wake up every single day and take chances. No matter what the outcome…believe in yourself and continue to fly.” There’s been word yet on when the last episode will air.
