Jill Scott, Eve and Regina Hall to Star in Lifetime Movie

Multitalented actresses Jill Scott, Eve and Regina Hall have signed on to star in the Lifetime Television movie ‘With This Ring,’ according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The romantic comedy tells the story of three single BFFs (Scott, Eve and Hall) who vow to get themselves married within a year after watching their fourth best friend get hitch in a lavish New Year’s Eve wedding.

Former video director-turned filmmaker Nzingha Stewart will write and direct the project, which begins production in August for a television debut later this year. ‘With This Ring’ is executive produced by Tracey Edmonds, Gabrielle Union and Sheila Ducksworth.

This isn’t the first time Jill Scott and Eve has worked together on a project. The duo teamed up on the 2011 single ‘Shame’ from Scott’s fourth album, ‘The Light of the Sun.’

Ironically, Eve recently married her longtime boyfriend, Maximillion Cooper, in a lavish wedding ceremony in Ibiza, Spain this past June.
