Contact Us Chris Brown may have just been released from jail earlier this week, but the ‘Loyal’ singer might have to head back to the courtroom sooner than expected. According to TMZ, the U.S. District Attorney for the District of Columbia filed documents pushing the judge to schedule his trial for June 25. Brown’s original trial date was supposed to be in April, however, it was postponed to June. While Brown says he didn’t specifically admit that he was guilty of assaulting Parker Adams in October 2013, the prosecutor contends that Brown’s admission that he violated the terms of his parole constituted a confession in the assault case. Because of this, there is a strong push to take him to court in a few weeks. Meanwhile, Brown’s bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, was found guilty of the assault back in April and faces up to six months of jail time and a $1,000 fine. If the judge agrees with the prosecutor, Brown will be back in the courtroom by the end of June.
