DJ Khaled Teams Up With Jay Z for New Song [VIDEO]

DJ Khaled and Jay Z are about to make the summer even hotter. The duo have teamed up for the new song ‘They Don’t Love You No More,’ which serves as the first single from Khaled’s eighth studio album.

In a nearly four minute promotional video, the Miami-based mogul, who owns We the Best Music Group, says the new cut will completely mess every hood, project and city up. Since he’s the self-described “King of the Anthem,” people should expect way more than just a regular collaborative single. This will be a song that is completely awe inspiring and grand.

“I been doing this. People think it just happens. It just don’t f—in’ happen. I make these f—in’ hits and put these f—in’ hits together and make the biggest motherf—in’ anthems in the game,” said Khaled with utter confidence in an interview with MTV. “It’s gonna be eight summers.”

Songs like 2007's ‘I’m So Hood’ featuring T-Pain, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Plies, 2011's ‘I’m on One’ featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, and 2013's ‘No New Friends’ with Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne are just some of the anthems he’s referring to.

The promo visual for the song with Hov also shows the We The Best honcho visiting Brooklyn’s Marcy projects, the famed housing development where Hov grew up in the ’70s and ’80s.

Khaled shared how important it was for him to visit Marcy to not only see where Jay Z stomped around as a kid, but to “touch the people” as well. He wanted to bring the same energy surrounding Marcy to the studio while making the song.

No exact date has been released as to when the single will arrive, but best believe Khaled will give us many more updates, as he’s clearly a master of self-promotion.
