Contact Us Big K.R.I.T. is hard at work on his sophomore album, ‘Cadillactica,’ and he’s giving fans a preview of what’s to come with ‘New Agenda,’ a collaboration with Rick Ross. Premiering on Rolling Stone today, the song is the first of seven that the Mississippi rapper plans to deliver during what he calls “Week of K.R.I.T.” “Twenty-fourteen is all about growth musically and new agendas,” K.R.I.T. tells the pop culture magazine. “I’m excited for my supporters to hear the sound I’ve been creating.” ‘New Agenda’ is progressively slow, and the beat doesn’t hit you over the head. Instead, it’s the lyrics that make this track a standout and great choice for a first single. “Bitch I got a new agenda / Grip and grain till I catch a splinter / Stripper pole, set it in the middle / For them buses tryin’ to twerk a little,” K.R.I.T. rhymes. Meanwhile, Rick Ross breathlessly delivers on the mic, “See me on that cover of Rolling Stone’s embellished / Diamond dripped from my neck, them tatts all on my belly / All I had was that dream / Martin Luther my king / Had one last request / Bury me in my rings.” Big K.R.I.T. made the announcement for “Week of K.R.I.T.” over the weekend via social media. “It’s been a while .. I know y’all wanted some new music #CADILLACTICA coming soon .. Until then imma drop this #WEEKOFKRIT 7 days, 7 new pieces of content starting Monday .. #YOUNGKRIZZLE,” the 27-year-old wrote. Check back tomorrow to find out what track he decides to drop next. Listen to Big K.R.I.T.’s ‘New Agenda’ Feat. Rick Ross
