Lloyd Banks Talks Possible Return To Interscope

April 19, 2010 12:04:00 AM CDT by Slava Kuperstein

Lloyd Banks claims that Interscope is hoping to get him back onto their roster, but the G-Unit soldier isn't having it - unless he gets an apology.

In an interview with Philadelphia radio personality Cosmic Kev, the "Beamer, Benz or Bentley" rapper explained the situation. "50 [Cent] heard from them," said Banks. "They calling right now trying to figure out how to get the boy back in the building. They have to drop the apology bag first. You can drop that bag and say, 'I'm sorry. I will never ever doubt you again.' That's just a contract to talk. So it's still not solidified. Then I might just take it and go get a little drop and something."

Banks' first Aftermath release was the platinum-selling The Hunger for More, which was also well-received critically. Banks was also a part of several G-Unit releases, and released a second album, Rotten Apple. His sophomore effort did not do nearly as well - commercially or critically.

Lloyd Banks is currently releasing projects independently and remains a member of G-Unit.
