Kanye West Autographs Red Octobers, Meets Fan With 'Yeezus' Tattoo [VIDEO]

Kanye West isn’t a fan of radio interviewers, Nike CEO Mark Parker or the media in general. He did say in one concert in Washington D.C., that the moniker Yeezus means “Yeez is us.” That’s not just another one of his grandiose quotes either — West is a man of the people. The rapper proved that when he signed a microphone for a fan who had the ‘Yeezus’ logo tattooed on his chest.

During the G.O.O.D. Music leader’s last North American Yeezus tour stop at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., Sunday night (Feb. 23), he gave the fan, Rob, the special gift. The artist wrote the words, “2 Rob From Yeezus, Last Show” on that mic. Rob was pretty excited judging from the backstage photo below. The tattoo artist did a pretty solid job of getting that logo right.

Rob wasn’t the only fan to receive a gift from the ‘Blood on the Leaves’ rhymer. Ye decided to autograph some of those infamous Red Octobers for some more excited supporters at the show.

Fans had to be lucky to catch the Red Octobers before they sold out within 10 minutes of their release on Feb. 9, the day before the 10th anniversary of ‘The College Dropout.’ West, being a man of the people, promised more Yeezy loyalists would be able to get their hands on West’s collaboration releases with adidas.

“The idea that those Yeezys sold out in 11 minutes, yeah that’s good for my ego,” West said at a Newark, N.J. concert. “The problem is there’s 20,000 of y’all and you know what? That’s not good for my people.” There’s a chance a lot more fans will be sharing Rob’s smile in the future.

The Yeezus tour will cross the Pacific for its Australian leg featuring Pusha T as the opener. That trek starts on May 2 at the Perth Arena.
